I am illustrator and potter based in East London. My work is highly decorative with a strong focus on narrative, character and pattern in each ceramic piece. I love that a pot can tell a story, in both the decoration and the form, as well as being something useful, becoming part of our daily lives. I love using my illustrations to create colourful worlds I'd like to inhabit and escape to.

I am greatly inspired by ancient art, particularly Greek, Roman and Celtic where elaborate decoration and craftsmanship took centre stage, transforming everyday objects into beautiful works of art.I use a variety of clays to construct my pieces, using traditional hand building techniques such as coiling and slab building. I have also more recently started to throw on a potters wheel, which I love.

Each piece I make is completely unique and decorated by hand. Glazes and colour are a big part of my work which I am constantly developing and testing.
